Luxuriating in tropical style, in a quiet neighborhood near the beach at the Costa Tropical

70 km from Malaga airport, 1 km from the beach

Casa Viva la Vida ("Celebrate Life") is roughly 70 km east of the airport of Malaga, near the exit of the highway, in the small-scale seaside resort of La Herradura. The semi-detached house is part of the green complex Tropicana II, where there is lots of care for the medittaranean gardens with palms, jasmin, avocados, olive trees and orange trees. The cabra de la montaña, (protected mountain goats) visit regularly late in the evening and squirrels are playing in the fir trees nearby. Stairs around the complex and some steps in the house make Casa La Vida unsuitable for people who have mobility problems.

Tropicana 2 is in the quiet neighbourhood Las Palomas, some 60m above sea level and about 1km from the beach. The shared pool is free of charge, and is about 3 minutes' walk from the house. Next to the pool are tennis courts that can be rented by the hour. You can also rent tennis rackets there. The beach of La Herradura is some 12 minutes walking down the slope.

2 bedrooms and a luxurious kitchen

The house is about 70 m2, very suitable for 1 or 2 persons, 2 friends, or a couple with 1-2 children. There are two bedrooms, one with a comfortable kingsize bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) and a view of the sea, and the other with two separate beds (0.90 m x 2.00 m each).

The modern bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower. There is a separate space with the toilet.

The luxurous kitchen has all the conveniences, like a dishwasher, an induction hob, a microwave, and an oven. There is a Nespresso coffee maker for single cupts or for your normal ground coffee. There is also a toaster and a juicer for a tasty toasted sandwich or a glass of fresh juice. 

Bedding and towels are included.

Spacious terrace with great views and a large barbecue

The spacious terraces offers a great view of the sea, the mountains and the Mediterranean garden with Mediterranean dwarf palms, mangos and olive trees. Next to a table with chairs are two terrace chairs and a large barbecue. You're facing east. In the summer the terrace is in the sun till about 14:00. After that you'll be in a delightful shade. There is also a large awning to get shade. Later in the afternoon there will be sunshine at the entrance-side of the house. Especially in winter it is pleasant here.

Wifi, AC, dishwasher and washing machine

There is WIFI via fiber optics, a dishwasher and a washing machine for clothes. There is air conditioning in the living room, and ceiling fans for the bedrooms. Next to the bed is a charging stations for USB, e.g. for smart phone or iPad or smartwatch. In the living room there is a screen for streaming your favorite tv using your Google Chromecast, or for connecting your laptop via an HDMI cable.

No smoking, no pets

Smoking and pets are not allowed.

Note: due to the steps near the house and the few steps in the house itself, Casa Viva la Vida is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
